To celebrate World Ocean Day, PT Seafood Inspection Laboratory held a beach clean-up at Mertasari Beach, Sanur, on Saturday, June 14, 2025. This event was a real step from the company to show its care for the environment—especially the ocean. A total of 48 employees joined in and took part in the clean-up.
The activity started at 6 a.m., with participants walking along the shoreline carrying simple tools like sacks and gloves. The main focus was collecting plastic waste along the beach, which is one of the areas most at risk of pollution. All the trash collected was sorted by hand to separate what could be recycled from what couldn’t. Recyclable plastics were donated to Pesona Plastic—a local small business that turns plastic waste into useful and eco-friendly products.
Through this effort, the company hopes to help protect the beach environment and raise awareness among the local community about taking care of nature. It was also a great chance to build teamwork and a stronger bond among the employees.
This clean-up wasn’t just for show—it’s part of the company’s long-term commitment to creating a better balance between business and nature.
